Hello everyone!  I’m Barney proprietor of The Hideaway@Baxby Manor camping and Glamping site in Husthwaite near York.

Just thought I’d introduce myself and say “hi” now that it's back to school time and things here are MUCH quieter!  We’ve gone from 100-170 people every day since early July to about…30!  Although some would say it’s not good for business….I am not too bothered; I’m shattered, and as for the poor grass and pitches…! lol  

It also give me time to concentrate on building our fantastical whimsical Treehouse-Rufus’s Roost, which opens next month!
