Health & Safety

Taking children camping is a unique opportunity to create memories and relationships that will last a lifetime.  However being outside of our normal routine can present new risks.
We, like you, want to keep camping with kids magical so we ask every parent to take 5 minutes to read, bookmark and share this page.
KNOW WHAT TO DO IF A CHILD IS CHOKING
Because children eat different food whilst camping, and may put objects they find in their mouth, there is a risk of choking.  This 40 second video could save your, or another camper's child's life.

DON'T COOK IN YOUR TENT

When it's wet or windy, it's tempting to cook inside a tent.  Anything that burns can give off Carbon Monoxide (CO), which can kill whilst you or your little one sleep, long after cooking is finished, so please don't take the risk.

Ask another camper with a shelter if they mind you cooking under their cover (they won't mind) it's a great way to laugh about the weather with like minded people!
